Biography:

Han Solo, a key figure in the Original Trilogy, first appeared in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977). He is a Corellian smuggler, initially motivated by profit, who becomes a vital member of the Rebel Alliance.

Solo captains the Millennium Falcon alongside his Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca. His initial reluctance to join the Rebel cause shifts as he develops a strong moral compass and falls in love with Princess Leia Organa.

In Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, Solo is rescued from Jabba the Hutt's Sail Barge. His experiences throughout the Original Trilogy transforms him from a self-serving rogue into a courageous and selfless hero.
